How Saudi Personal Loan Financing Works: Under SAMA Consumer Lending Regulations, monthly installments for unsecured personal finance cannot exceed 33.33% (one-third) of the borrower's verified net salary (capped at 25% for retirees). Maximum loan tenure is strictly 5 years (60 months). Total finance cost is calculated from the principal borrowed, annual percentage rate (APR), and duration, plus upfront administrative fees which SAMA strictly caps at 1% of the principal or SAR 5,000, whichever is lower.
